ISO tanks, flat racks and open top containers are equipment types. RoRo is a loading and transport method. Out-of-gauge (OOG) describes a cargo characteristic, rather than a separate container type.
Air cargo ULDs include aircraft containers and pallet-and-net units. A tank container carried on a rail wagon is different from a tank wagon with a permanently mounted tank.
Photographs help explain what a transport option looks like. They do not establish that equipment is suitable for a particular cargo or available on a route.
Before selecting equipment, discuss dimensions, weight, cargo properties, documentation, loading and receiving conditions, and carrier acceptance. Dangerous goods require a separate shipment-specific review.
